Valve should cut down their greedy 30% cut first.

With how much money they earn, it's unacceptable that a game like Rape Day gets through their faulty algorithm. Where the fuck is that money going?

edit: Metro Exodus is doing 2.5x the sales of Metro Last Light on PC, so it shows Epic store is picking up steam (heh)

No it doesn't. It's pretty obvious they included Steam preorders. Do the math. A franchise gets significantly more popular over time and suddenly gets pulled off a store and you really want to take their claim at face value?

How many times does it need to be repeated that big games do not even get a 30% cut? Because it's been said a million times before. Of course it's a talking point that's always brought up against Steam; Epic quite literally engineered it to be one, that's why they have it all over their page explaining the benefits of the store.

Indie dev's quite understandably are going to Epic Store however. And Valve needs to be competitive by doing a lower cut for everybody (which by the way, even Epic does "tiers" for their cut). But that's no excuse to support Epic.

I think the OP needs to realize too that Angry Joe isn't saying console wars on PC is a good thing, in fact he's saying the game should be on all digital store fronts, which I agree with.
