Gen 2 - Atari 2600. Just the concept of being able to play Space Invaders at home.
Gen 7 - Wii. The whole motion control thing.
Gen 8 - PS4, Graphics.

No other console gave me as big a 'wow' feeling as when I played each of these three consoles for the first time.
