I'm not a huge fan of the games as a service model so hopefully that doesn't become the standard *cough* google *cough*
But anyway, I honestly don't see myself picking up another console for the forseeable future, after getting an XB One in '15, Switch in '17, and One X in '18. I think I'm set for awhile.
The next closet thing to buying gaming related hardware I could maybe see myself investing in is a new gaming PC, as my 2013 PC is starting to show its age a bit, but we're still talking 2 or 3 more years down the line even for THAT.
