If we go to the start of gaming, let's call it Atari it sold more than 2M system in under 7 years... so saying PSNow having 2M is because it is just the start is wrong.
For PSNow and other streaming to become bigger and more mainstream will take time more because of technology, access and cost/benefit not just because they just started.
I rather pay 400 at launch and use for 60 months, and if regular customer 12 games at 60 usd another 720, total 1120 USD in 60 months or under 20 bucks a month than renting and never owning a console for more than this cost. Mind you that you can buy more games and cheaper than 60, and possibly expend less buying console and game than renting. Not a good money decision to go to Streaming (with lower quality) imho.
duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"
Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"
Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
