I also don't think this is a political issue. As I said earlier CGI moved this into the politics discussion. 

Why should they say that? Their problem wasn't with biker gang characters. It was with, and I quote: "yet another Gruff White Male Protagonist."

I guess I'm just different. When I judge characters in media and real life skin colour is a non factor.
