Narrative platformer GRIS has sold 300K units so far, receives new free content

Nomada Studio and Devolver Digital have released GRIS Undone, a free update to the gorgeous narrative platformer featuring unused concept art and music tracks, as a celebration of the game reaching 300,000 units sold. GRIS is currently 15 percent off on PC via Steam, Humble and GOG.
The GRIS Undone update adds an elegant browser for fans to listen to a collection of music tracks by Berlinist that were not featured in the game’s final release as well as unused designs and concept art from Creative Director Conrad Roset. Included in the collection is an alternate version of the game’s main musical theme and early designs for GRIS’ now iconic dress.

Slime Rancher is now free on the Epic Games Store

The best things in life are free, so the saying goes, and while Slime Rancher's 65/100 review score doesn't necessarily mark is as among "the best," it's undergone numerous updates since then, has sold very well—it recently surpassed two million copies—and, finally getting to the point, it's free for the next couple of weeks on the Epic Games Store.
Slime Rancher is a first-person sandbox farming sim, but your farm is on a distant planet and your herds are slime. The title is more or less literal, you see: "Each day will present new challenges and risky opportunities as you attempt to amass a great fortune in the business of slime ranching. Collect colorful slimes, grow crops, harvest resources, and explore the untamed wilds through the mastery of your all-purpose vacpack."

Devil May Cry 5 has been cracked on launch day, does not contain Denuvo at all

Now here is something really interesting. Devil May Cry 5 has just been released on the PC and the game has already been cracked. What’s really interesting here, however, is that the cracked version uses a Denuvo-free executable file, meaning that it does not contain the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at all.
This is similar to the Final Fantasy XV crack release that was based on the Denuvo-free executable file that was used for the game’s demo. To be honest, I seriously don’t know who leaked this executable file as the demo for Devil May Cry 5 never came out on the PC platform.

Valve laid off 13 full-time employees and 'a portion' of its contractors in February

Valve has confirmed with UploadVR that it laid off 13 full time employees in February, and also severed ties with an unspecified number of contractors. The company said that the cuts will not result in any "major changes."
The cuts came to light when the site compared Valve's current "People" page with an archived version from January. It found nine people listed as employees in January who absent from the most recent list, several of whom have said on social media that they are no longer with Valve.

You can now play as Halo’s Master Chief in JUMP FORCE thanks to this mod

As we’ve already stated, although JUMP FORCE suffers from some serious console porting issues (that have not been addressed yet), it runs smoothly on the PC. And from the looks of it, and despite the presence of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, this game is really friendly to mods.
Today, OniFox released a really cool mod for JUMP FORCE that allows players to play as Master Chief from the Halo series.
This Mod Replaces Ryo Saeba’s Entire Appearance and Weapons with Master Chief in his Halo 3 Design, along with the Magnum, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, Brute Shot, Gravity Hammer, and Warthog. The Mod also replaces the UI to be of Master Chief instead of Ryo.

The Sinking City has been delayed until June 27th

Frogwares has announced that its Lovecraftian game, The Sinking City, has been delayed until June 27th. The game was originally meant to come out later this month but it was then hinted by an Amazon listing that it would be delayed.

First free weekend announced for Conan Exiles

Funcom has announced that Conan Exiles will enter its first-ever Steam Free Weekend, running from March 7th to March 10th. Simultaneously, the game is available for purchase at a 50% discount.
