I'm sure I'm not the only one who's found themselves playing a game that was just so good, you honestly hated to see it come to an end. I'm definitely not talking about multi-player or going back to "clean up" missions you never fully completed (artificially creating a replay value) - I'm talking about any game that has a dedicated single-player campaign that when finished, you're actually depressed that it's come to an end...

I'm currently playing Rise of the Tomb Raider at the moment (yeah, I know it's an older game - but the backlog of games I have sitting on my shelf that I have not yet played, is staggering!!!) and I find myself dreading that I know the end is eventually going to come. I'm so thoroughly enjoying this game, I wish it would never end!!!!

I felt this same exact way about Zelda: OoT and The Last of Us (just to name a couple of others) - I loved those games so much, I was bummed for weeks afterwards, knowing that they were over.

Tell me some games that you've had this same experience with - as I mentioned, I have a shit-ton of PS3, PS4, and Switch games that I have yet to even break the seal on, so hearing about games that you guys have enjoyed as much as I've enjoyed these particular games, will help me narrow down which game(s) I will be looking to play next...

OoT I was a kid and the fact it ended was devastating.

I really enjoyed Rise of the Tomb raider. Kick on quickly to Shadow. It's not *quite* as good but its right up there and pretty much more of the same.

When Mass Effect 3 ended I didn't know what to do with myself for like a week.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
