Unless they'll offer two versions of the game (one with all data on a big cartridge for $10 extras and one with a partial download on a smaller cartridge, but for $10 less) we'll never know.

Lol when the "partial download" on some of these releases is 70%, you may as well call it a digital release.

I agree, unfortunately there is no solid evidence what would happen in this scenario. However we can work with the best we got. When staff members tell you people cancel their preorder on games that require downloads and they had to start advertising it upfront so people knew what they were buying indicates that this is a problem to a fair few customers. Even the price drops you see on those are much quicker and greater than on full game. How big this issue? no one knows but enough to make stores change the way they advertise the games.
