Regular Blu-Ray players are much cheaper but he's talking about 4K Blu-Ray players which I think are still like $200 if you get one of the big brands.

I just remember them trying to push 4k blu ray players and xbox one S and X's on me when I bought a 4k TV. To get the best out of my TV... Naturally.

 

I tried to avoid retail and bought it elsewhere for price and because of this. It didn't matter.
