Nordic countries aren't socialists. They practice free markets but pay higher taxes for government entitlements. Right now they are paying higher taxes and they are moving politically right because it turns out people don't want to pay high taxes. It isn't sustainable in the long run and people want to keep what they earn. Not to mention we pay for their defense which I wish we weren't since Nordic countries don't really contribute anything back imo.

You're absolute right, Nordic countries are not Socialist, but what they are is a very similar form to Democratic Socialism; which uses aspects from BOTH Capitalism and Socialism. Also known as the exact policies that Bernie runs on. Every single aspect of Bernie's campaign where someone says "how will we pay for it" flourishes in these Eastern European countries. It isn't a matter of being radical, it's that politics in the United States are so flung to the right he seems like a full on Socialist. We can have our disagreements and I respect your opinion but Bernie's plans are feasible if we simply address the income inequality and wealth inequality in our country. I'm not saying he's the perfect candidate in any way, but he genuinely cares about the American people which is more than I can personally say for our current president.
