What are people's take on Tulsi Gabbard. I'm somehow just finding out about her now, and holy crap, I feel like I may have FINALLY found my candidate! Even over Bernie, or AOC (who I feel like is looking crazier and crazier the more I follow her, though she's still too young to run anyway). Tulsi seems like that (kinda sorta) common ground between Bernie and Ron Paul I've been searching for.
Where do I begin..
- Sensible on many issues, seems very genuine and articulate.
- (At least one foot) outside the DNC machine.
- An ACTUAL progressive in a way,, but actually Libertarian tinged in some.
- (Anti war/non interventionism, but still seems to understand the importance of a American security/strengh (is even serving in National Guard), pro legalizing weed, anti government spying and Patriot Act, universal health care, raise minimum wage)
- Seems to focus on building bridges and actual positive change, vs most DNC and their media cohorts who have resorted to mudslinging, name calling, fear mongering hysteria, and guilt by association, along with an absurd amount of Trump Derangement Syndrome I'm finding more and more insufferable
- Ties with/supports Bernie/Kucinich - two of the very few remaining Dems I can still tolerate
- She's a millenial (so I'd trust her to be more in touch with our issues)
- Also Hindu which I find pretty neat, especially not being particularly keen on the 3 major Judeo-Christian/Abrahamic religions.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden
