Would actually be 32*1000*1000*1000/(1024*1024*1024), you started with kilobytes as your base instead of bytes. But that still wouldn't be enough, as that results into 29.8GiB

Also, Flash Memory in those 2^x sizes are normally really that big. But they also tend to have some overprovisioning (hence why many drives/USB sticks come with 240GB while physically having 256GiB) to make sure the SSD is never totally full and as reserve for dead cells. So that's probably what happened in your case, too.

You are right. Oh man it's been at least 30 years since I ever considered thinking of using bytes as a base unit :)

It works in my favor for my bandwidth though. 500*1024*1024*1024 per month, while it reports in MB. I assume it measures the actual amount downloaded no matter how calculated, but at least it's 500 actual Gigabytes and I'm not getting shafted an extra 35 GB by my isp.

Downloading FH4, Ori and reinstalling windows cost about 95,000 MB. I still have some left to check out what else is fun with gamepass.

 Total Usage (MB)
    433,694 MB

Total Usage (GB)
    423.52 GB

Usage Allowance
    500 GB (512000 MB)

Decide on one measure lol. I guess that's technically correct, 500GB is indeed 512,000 MB and 524,288,000 KB, 536,870,912,000 bytes. That's a lot of ascii porn. I think this is safe enough for this site, that's what we were using the 'internet' for in university back in '92 lol
