1050ti is pushing the limit already, where as the 1060 has some headroom. With the 1660 coming out (the true 1060 replacement), not sure how much cheaper the 1060 laptops will get in the next while. If you waited a bit you might find a better deal, then again, that may be the reason for the 1060 models starting to go on sale for hundreds off now.
