I get that an aggragate score is weighted but when you do a single review for a game you are literally trashing and give it a 7, your score looses meaning. If they all scored properly perhaps MC and OC reviews of 80 or less would not be looked upon with suspicion and 60-70's as bad games. If call the game less than mediocre with technical issues abound then score it as such with a 5 or less. 70s... FFS. |
Reviewers tend to only review games that have at least a chance of getting a decent review score. Games that would have scored 1 or 3 often aren't reviewed at all, because they are obviously bad from a glance. Reviewers should just randomly pick a truly horrible game three times a year. Then they should berate the completely broken, non-functional, asset flip travesty. Why? Just to show people what a truly bad 3/10 game looks like.
