Ok, it's not really a stretch. The same exact thing happened with mighty no. 9. It was pretty clear it was concept art, but the concept art was still vastly superior to the actual 3D graphics that were used. Not saying the game won't be good but it's almost the exact same situation honestly. 

It is a stretch because Bloodstained doesn't make literal shit look like high art.

I'm talking about the transition from concept art to actual graphics, not the games quality. 

Besides, Bloodstained could always be Shitstained
