You assume wrong that I consider my taste as law, anything and all you supposed based on that is factual wrong but you prefer to pretend otherwise to make your impression more important than the reality. You say it doesn't change anything for you but you keep doing, curious.

I sure don't mind if they win in the future. It still doesn't change the fact that today a game like Celeste doesn't hold against GoW and that if judge on same merits it would get lower score. Why do you think it didn't get nearly similar number of GOTY nominations and wins besides Indie category?

It's not that I assume wrong, it's that I don't care about what you do outside of this forum, that factually matters little to this discussion. Basing on what you've said prior to this conversation, in relation to the talk of indies however is what it is.

Call it pretending all you want, but it doesn't stop the fact that you've previously stated you don't see indie's as being worth a win for the GOTY awards, simply because they are not exactly like AAA games. There is simply no scrubbing that from what was said before between you and eva. If you want indies to win and gladly want them to, then you will rescind your previous talk right here and now.

See, I'm honest in what I said before, about the last wording of my last sentence. You on the other hand like to change things up. A few weeks ago you were saying you didn't like the idea of indies winning nor being a part of the ceremony, because you think they don't match up, and thus need to match up and be compared to another level of the same medium. Now you suddenly want them to win, only because I decided to intervene and question you within this thread. if that wasn't the case and I was wrong, then why, if I can kindly ask of you, did you make the statement previously discussed between you and eva?. Did you just magically change your mind on that brief exchange between the two of you, and you didn't decide to go forward with that new way of thought, or do you want to cling to it and claim you're for the other medium now?.

If you don't mind, then you'll not need to add ... in the future or wording like "some even wanting it to take GOTY instead of GoW, Spider-Man and RDR2."

It doesn't matter that an indie game isn't on GoW's level, because quite frankly, no game has to be. You completely misunderstand what art is and what it can come off as to others out there, not just gamers, but other artists as well. It doesn't have to be a game that looks like it's trying to imitate reality (hence the graphical focus GoW tries to roll with, over say a cell shaded style or one based on ye-old Disney animation style). You judge other games far, far too harshly and don't even include the style of art they use. Have you never drawn anything before, or lent a few thoughts to appreciating good art?, is gaming the only medium you ever look at daily, in order to judge something by looks alone?.

Who says an indie in the future won't get any more nominations?. YOu seem cock-sure that no indie game will get many nominations in the future. The future, like I have to continue telling Azz, is not written in stone, none of us have a crystal ball that tells us what is definitely the "one true" future, because there is none.
