You are just trying to read to much.

But yes, Celeste and other great Indies certainly doesn't compete on same level as RDR2 and GOW, and if they were evaluated on the same merits their grades would be much lower than what we usually see. That is my opinion and I have a right to it, same right as people have to think these great Indies should be contender for GOTY and win against GoW.

No?. Not really, that would be like me saying that you've dropped all bias towards a certain set of developers/game development size overnight.

See, the first line is exactly what I was trying to point out with your convo between you and Eva. You try to put one dev type, entirely over another, making sure that the other cannot hope to compete against the other for GOTY.

What same merits?, textures?. Mate, those, again are not beholden to just AAA games, art styles and usage of said styles are not beholden to AAA games either. Some of the most beautiful looking games around have been spawned from indie devs, that weren't AAA based.

Yeah, you have an opinion, but it's not a fact, and to that, it doesn't hold much weight, because it's your own say on how things could be run, but aren't.

The reality is, is that indies are getting up there and they are getting closer by each year. Once we get one that wins multiple awards, it will have to be given it's dues, especially when you consider their smaller budgets, the effort of work they have to put into them, vs a company that basically acts like a blank chequeue and fully disposable staff members (huge hhint if you didn't know).

God forbid i have personal taste. You love to come and say I'm biased and hate PC. Not far ago you were also complaining I only talk bad about PC. Since this is a thread of God of War and not PC, will you say how much you love God of War and how much it deserved to be the overall winner for GOTYs last year?

You can dream as much as you want that if Indies were held to the same standard on their review they would get scores as good as they have.
