If they were to show PS5 at a special event near 2019 E3 then they wouldn't leave E3 this year and cancel their PSX.

Or they could do a september 2019 reveal at a september PSX event and release the console 6 months later in march 2020.

No rule that says PSX must be in december or even in one country. 

Sure they could. They haven't made march a release date for PS that I remember but sure they could.

The point is just that they wouldn't skip E3 to reveal PS5 on close weeks to it.
