I don't feel like arguing, but in Irvine's defense, it is kind of awkward when people don't recognise you and you are a bit socially awkward. Its happened to me and people I've worked with in real life. Irvine actually mentions this is why he didn't speak up, because nobody else seemed to remember, he didn't know how to bring it up. Selphie or Zell would have probably said something but the others would just leave it I think.

I don't feel like arguing, but I'm going to say you're wrong, lol :P

But, it's a valid point. I just don't think it was executed especially well.

I should point out that I still loved the game when it came out and was just pointing out some strange plot's, You have the overarching idea of connection being played out in the game, but the making them orphans comes across like an idea that came about because they were stuck in how to work everybody into it, so you ended up with a decision that rather than being a natural fit stuck out enough that it had to be explained away, while you would be right in saying it's not a big thing,it just added another layer on what for me turned out to be a game that toward the end became a tangled mess story wise, all the rest I thoroughly enjoyed apart from drawing making things a little easy.
