The number of people who want Steam to have a monopoly (or Netflix, to cite another example) , because it is convenient to them don't seem to realize that monopolies never benefit the customer. And in the case of steam, developers and publishers are customers themselves. And it sounds like an increasing number of them are tired of getting screwed by Steam.
