Should Final Fantasy become a new type of game or should Final Fantasy not become a new type of game?

FF Versus XIII for the PS3 was going to be that ideal game. FFXV was a rush job that became part of the numbered series for marketing purposes. I don't think FFXV and AC: O can be compared, AC: O is a yearly series like CoD, while FF is SE attempts at a brand changing game.
