They're kinda redundant nowadays. Probably only still used in some backwater places where prostitution is illegal.
The concept was kinda weird to begin with. Going into a bar with friends and colleagues to stare at naked women. Imagine they meet at someone's home and then watch porn together.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
