But why ? I much doubt that FF X/X-2 are worth way less than the 32GB cart they're using.

It's 31.8 GB without updates on PS4, and on Steam it's 34GB, at least that's what I saw when I looked it up. 

This might mean it's on parity with the PS4 version, which makes sense, it's not like it shouldn't be.
