Capra Demon could be killed by throwing bombs over wall. Completely safe, you are standing outside boss room.

 

And this is a good example of how the game is overrated. Basically using the broken AI to get passed an annoying rush enemy. I had a lot of trouble with the Capra Demon as well and it quickly became tedious to fight back to him, walk through the mist, get rushed and die in 2 seconds, sometimes the fog had not even fully cleared yet. Luckily the game was good enough to oversee these kind of problems and you can use the broken pathing for a lot of encounters when you get 'stuck'.
