If the Patriots win the Super Bowl then at least I can say my team was the last team to beat the Super Bowl champs. (Quite convincingly I might add, as long as it's at home :P)

If the Patriots lose, then they lose.

If the Rams win, I can say my team lost to the super bowl champs in the playoffs. Takes a little bit of the sting out.
