The games that “lost a lot of money” didnt lose money, they just gained less money than the publishers expected to.
Gaas can be done right. Forza Horizon 4 is a gaas, but with no microtransactions and an option to play completely offline. Assassins Creed Odyssey does well with that model too, with monthly updates adding more options and content.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
