Eh, thats an overrated stat. Years ago the Chargers were the #1 seed in the AFC and had the Patriots beat in the playoffs when they picked off a 4th quarter pass but then the DB fumbled it while being tackled. That's the type of luck Rivers has had in his career. He also played one of those games with a torn ACL IIRC. And another with no Tomlinson.
Per usual it came down to great coaching with New England. They prepared with brand new defensive schemes the Chargers were not ready for. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see their defense confuse the fuck out of Mahomes next week, either.
The Rams also did incredible coaching and prep for this weeks game and had tells on the Dallas defense that were right more than 90% of the time. That's how you shred a good defensive line for almost 300 yards rushing and your QB drops back almost 30 times and only gets touched once. Incredible. Dallas coaching staff should be ashamed and embarrassed. Jerry should replace all of them but he needs a yes man at the helm so he'll extend Garrett most likely.
