Yes, I think games should be released on PC, a novel concept I know. God forbid me being able to buy and play games on one of my preferred platforms. 

Nope. The argument goes, this games have been on the shortlist for GOTY on most publications and some of them won a lot. With several cases of reviewers giving a higher score for one game and goty to another.

You have all right in the world to want games launched in your platform of choice, but that doesn't make it the most reasonable platform for release all the time and impervious to argument.
