That is why I never got invested in the franchise... There was no PC release.
So when they released the sequel on PC, I skipped over it because I felt like I was missing out on 50% of the story.

I will probably do the same with Red Dead 2 when it comes to the PC one day.
If a developer doesn't support my platform of choice, then I probably won't bother to support them to any degree. - Now Blizzard on the other hand... I generally buy everything.

In Bungies case though, they have a track record of skipping PC releases, so even if they suck back up to Microsoft, I doubt the PC will be a focal point.

Im not sure about any other company buying Destiny but its safe to say if MS brought them back (i highly daubt) than we can expect PC releases since MS claimed all future 1st party games are heading to PC so its basically guaranteed. If Bungie stay independent we might get PC releases but theres no guarantee on that.

I never argued the contrary.

However... Just because a game gets a PC release, doesn't mean the PC will be the focal point.
The PC is littered with the corpses of fallen video games that had a terrible PC release... Almost every title that is released in the Windows Store falls into that category.. And that is entirely because of the pitfalls the Universal Windows Platform brings to the table.

This has got to be depresing. Expect a mobile game and lootbox galore grom chinese backers. I guess vivster was right. Its destiny problems had more to do with bungi.

Or more to do with the fact that Chinese gaming has been getting bigger and bigger, and as a result, those Chinese companies now have enough money and power to spread towards Western gaming now.

It will become a thing, whether we like it or not.

Indeed. The Chinese have stupidly deep wallets... And are making inroads everywhere.
