And yet they wish to remain free, hence the Activision split, so they wish to create something that isn't simply locked down to just one console. Also, you seem to be going back to this old "they will always do better on X, because I can see the future and it is defined and written in stone, so says me" thing going again. Funding isn't free, but it's not something only the big 3 can do, other publishers can as well, if not just as much, with other venues for funding existing out there as well. It'll be interesting to see them not take the road the few of you here want them to take.
Which is subjective, but hey, it's easy to lay claim that anything on PC is garbage right?, or resorting to just using meta scores as the holy bible of truth. What do you think Destiny 2 sold on PC?.
I like how we're making this a thing, where PC sells like tripe, has nothing good on it's own end. Come on man, you're blatantly taking the mick here. |
Who talked about Metacritic or that anything on PC is garbage?
Most of the critically aclaimed games are either console only (while a lot being exclusives to a single platform) or releasing first on console.
You just like to make everything into a crusade of everyone not liking PC and that all games should release on PC.

It's more or less due to Activision not making enough money. Notice how Bungie gets to hold onto the IP?. Sony wanted to hold onto Sunset OD, yet they went with MS, who allowed them to hold it. When a publisher gives away the brand, after it has clearly been sullied, you know that publisher doesn't think it's worth keeping. I too hope Blizz splits from Activision, but most of the founding fathers and good staff are jumping ship. Blizz is hardly the same old Blizz from the old days. They need to go back to what put them on the map, which they are already trying to do with WC III: Reforged, but they need to do more than just a small remaster. Again, stop diverging from what I'd said before. You act like Bungie will never make anything for PC, let alone anything for PC and it selling rather well. Wtf are you on about with that logic though?. 2. Again, other publishers that aren't the big 3 readily exist, as well as other means of funding existing out there as well. You do know that the games industry runs and thrives on other publishers,. The entire gaming industry isn't just consoles you know?. 3. What Pemalite said, as he's put it into far better words. |
Not many pubs are willing to release just one game after 5 or more years of investment. Even more when they jumped ship from MS and Activision. God forbid anyone sugest they could be under exclusive contract for the next game, because all games must launch on PC as well.
