Yeah, I don't regret buying a G-Sync monitor last year. FreeSync monitors with the same specs aren't much cheaper.

The cheaper FreeSync monitors often have more compromises (f. e. 35 - 75 Hz or 35 - 60 Hz range instead of 30 - 144 Hz)

Honestly, I'd love to see them catch up by this or next year at least. The price range should also go down a bit by then (I would hope), so it gives more choices for those still on the fence about getting a cheaper high refresh rate monitor.
