Expansion into space eventually led to the discovery of other species in this universe and it has been commonplace to see them around for years. You're sitting in a bar and out of nowhere one of said different species wraps its tentacle around you and whispers into your ear "glar gloo ba doo".

edit: as an actual answer though it would depend on the circumstances I guess. If it was confirmed safe and that nothing weird happens during or after then the option is there for those who would be into that, doesn't mean I would be one of those people necessarily.
