I have not heard of anyone disputing the 360's games library is bigger. Sounds a bit strange as you can easily count them. The 360 has had a year headstart afterall and nearly all the big XBox games have seen 360 sequels, so it's IMO not very surprising.
Game preferences is another topic. Not everyone buys all the games out there for a platform, people may well be satisfied with a just a handful of games per year like for example Singstar, MGS4, GTA IV, Uncharted, etc and may well reason quality above quantity.
What I did hear from a lot of Playstation supporters is that they often far more anticipate the PS3 games line-up. Games only to hit the PS3 exclusively.
