First of: How can 'the Dutch' underestimate the power of a Dutch person?!... You can't really underestimate your own power, can you?!
And for the 'If only..' part; Guus Hiddink was coach of The Netherlands from 1994-1998. He was the one who gave Van der Sar his first match for The Netherlands (or Oranje, as we refer to it). He reached the Semi-finals during the World Cup of 1998... They lost from Brazil during penalty shoot-out. I believe Frank (or Ronald) de Boer was responsible for the loss of The Netherlands that match...
