Good shout. Imo it was a mistake buying a TV last year if you intend to buy the PS5. Not only will HDMI 2.1 and OLED with low input lag be standard for 2020/21 but next year we should also see the introduction of top emission OLED screens. Couple this with the TV software improvements you'll be getting a much better deal around the ps5 launch and the year after. 

I got my 4K tv back in 2017. So I should be ready for an update in 2020. Better yet wait till november 2020 and buy the next years 4k tvs when I know there will be deals and those will be better than the ones released this year.
