2017 was the year we recieved two 97 MC games (BotW and Mario Odyssey), Persona 5, Xenoblade 2, and the launch of Nintendo's comeback hybrid gaming device. We saw a fantastic new IP in Horizon Zero Dawn and what is arguably the best Assassin's Creed game to date.
Also for me personally, BotW is my GotG. So for me 2017 wins.
