i hope you're kidding. The main thing about rpg is story and while most jrpgs have a good story i cant say the same about wrpg. random generated name is not the way to go if you want a good story. While kotor has a good story, morrowind and oblivion has the most boring stories ever created. Fable is short, linear, little quests, easy and a so so story. While oblivion and morrowind both have nice gameplay the story sucks monkey balls and oblivion gets boring after a while due to the enemy scaling. FF by far and i think fable will land around 85% while ff will land around 94%. |
Sorry, but neither WRPGS, or JRPGS fit to the definition of a role playing game. Why don't you google what role-playing means an come back and tell me that you choosing your name doesn't fit in role playing. Also if you say that Wrpgs don't have a story then go play Baldur's Gate, beats almost 90% of the jrpgs stories I've played. If it wasn't for some games like Chrono Trigger, FFVi, and FFIV I would say it has the best story of any rpg I've played.
