Pretty poor examples since there will definitely be another election and there will be a 2022 World Cup. So both of those things will happen again and you'll have another chance to vote/try to win the cup.

So we should vote for brexit every month for infinity right? Oh, actually I'm guessing if NO vote won you wouldnt be so adamant about voting again
