Talking about price cuts, PS4 actually had price cut in its second October to $350 (so less than 2 years on market), and in November of that year was selling for $350 with one game, Switch still has launch price point.

And my point is that the NS is still under 2 years old. And this is only its second holiday season. Its price of entry is also lower than the price of entry for the PS4 at the same time in its life. It shouldn't need deals like what the PS4 is currently employing to sell well. And it selling as well as it is selling isn't a big deal cause its performing as well as any well performing console before it. Even the XB1 is putting up god numbers this month. 

You say the switch still has its launch price.... it took sony 3 years to get to the current switch launch price. 

That don't have anything with my point that PS4 did had better deal than Switch, so I dont see why replied to me on first place?

Fact is that Switch still has launch price point while PS4 did had price point in less than 2 years on market, point that PS4 had higher launch price point that Switch dont change that fact, different type of consoles/different value of consoles, I mean 3DS had lower launch price point that PS4 and yet had price cut to $170/180 only 6 months after launch.
