Don't get the hate. It's a collectors item, a nostalgic gift. Its not meant for someone to be played for hrs on end, More the experience of reliving the past , maybe with friends of that era, and have that good feeling for a while. Even if only for a day or 2 before being stored away on display as a piece of history more or less. I look on youtube and people are actually complaining about graphics and frame rates and performances compared to the originals.. like really?.. the games have aged bad regardless, that's not the point of it.

Sorry man, but a 2018 HW shouldn't be displaying those games from 90's worse than they were on the original HW. If it do that then it doesn't deserve any love.

Ow so it was purely a thread to flame PSMini, ok then.

Yes, this thread was always meant to be about the PS Classic. "One of the biggest fails of the year" is meant to describe the magnitude of its failure, not as an invitation to talk about other failures; otherwise the original post would have asked for the other big failures of 2018.

While the OP's intention is suspect, to put it mildly, you aren't any better with your focus on Labo while ignoring all other failures of 2018. It's a classic Nintendo vs. Sony case. On a sidenote, Labo also has its own thread.

As for flaming the PS Classic, that's not correct. Objects can't be flamed, so that would be trolling. However, something isn't trolling just because it's negative. If something is objectively a failure - and early sales reports suggest that, such as from Japan where the PS Classic debuted to 1/2 and 1/3 of the numbers of the NES Classic and SNES Classic, respectively - then any discussion about said something is bound to be negative.

As I said the other failures of 2018 I can't even remember (and seem like no one else remembered).

I'm pretty sure a flamethrower can flame an object.

And if selling 1/3 of a competitor can be deemed a failure then we can certainly put a lot of things under biggest fails of the year.

Now do OP know the expectation and real sales to compare and determine a failure or is just his gut felling?

Yes Labo have it's thread, where it's been asked if it will have a big increase in sale as several users expected/said during the launch window. Nowhere on OP of that thread or even in most of the comments Labo is being trolled (but of course there are people really defending it, which coincidentally are here complaining of defense of PSMini, which I haven't seem any).
