Warhammer: Vermintide 2—Back to Ubersreik crawled out of its warren today, expanding Fatshark’s gruesome first-person rat extermination game with three remastered levels from the first Vermintide, set in titular Ubersreik.

Rainbow Six Siege autobans are being replaced with manual moderation

Earlier this summer, Ubisoft implemented an autoban system in Rainbow Six Siege that hit players with an automatic timeout (or permanent ban for repeat offenders) for dropping racist or homophobic slurs in chat. Brand director Alexandre Remy said a couple of months later that Ubi had "no regrets" about banning toxic players, but added that the feature would "evolve … to be a little more flexible" in the future.
In a blog post released today, Ubisoft laid out the next step in that evolution: A chat filter that will flag potentially offending messages for review and prevent them from being broadcast, but will not automatically impose timeouts or permabans.

I feared GTA Online would die a slow death with the arrival of Red Dead Redemption 2's multiplayer mode on consoles, but it doesn't look like that's going to be the case just yet. Today, GTA gets the Arena War update, where players battle with custom vehicles inside the long-dormant Maze Bank Arena. Arena War will encompass seven new modes.

Fortnite's Infinity Blade is a mythical sword that kills in one blow

Update: The sword Epic teased last night is the Infinity Blade, the titular weapon from the developer's mobile game, and you'll be able to get your hands on it today. It's a mythic sword only found on Polar Peak and only one will appear per match.

I haven’t finished The Forest yet because, frankly, I’m too damn scared. I’m not particularly comfortable in regular forests at night, let alone ones containing mutated cannibals and labyrinthine cave networks full of mutilated corpses. And now, thanks to the 1.10 update, there are two new horrifying monsters presumably waiting to snack on me.
