I don't get why people get upset with them adding bass notes in GH, as long as the difficulty being added is related to the song and not just thrown in for the hell of it I don't really care. I enjoy the challenge quite a bit...if they were just throwing notes in you might have a point..but they aren't.
PS - GH3 is easily more difficult than RB, perhaps you have a problem with the reasons why, but its not even that close.

RB and GH have copied each other quite a bit already so I think it is somewhat silly to argue which one is more original. I want both of them to have the great features and to constantly battle each other until we have an absolutely perfect game for the genre.
Until then the competition and the copying are a good thing for consumers. My brand loyalty goes no further than my investment in the instruments and at the end of the road regardless of who comes out on top I'll be there playing that game. In the mean time I'll be sticking to whoever has the best game when I make my purchase.
It looks like as a Wii owner GH4 is going to be an easy choice this time around.
