Part two of the news:

Overwatch Winter Wonderland returns on December 11
https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-winter-wonderland-returns-on-december-11/
The Overwatch Winter Wonderland will go live on December 11, Blizzard announced today—but what we've got to look forward to under this year's metaphorical tree remains tightly wrapped in the festive gift paper of mystery.

Blizzard kicks off Hearthstone: Rastakhan's Rumble with free card packs for everyone
https://www.pcgamer.com/blizzard-kicks-off-hearthstone-rastakhans-rumble-with-free-card-packs-for-everyone/
The Hearthstone expansion Rastakhan's Rumble is now live, bringing 135 new cards to the game, a new mechanic, and for a limited time, six free Rastakhan's Rumble card packs, plus a random Legendary Loa and two copies of the Spirit card for the same class, just for logging in.

Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove is now set for release in March
https://www.pcgamer.com/toejam-and-earl-back-in-the-groove-is-now-set-for-release-in-march/
Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, a new tale about a pair of alien weirdos who crash-land on Earth and find success as a rap duo (which I guess seemed like a reasonable premise in 1991) has been scheduled for release on March 1, 2019. And if you're thinking, "Wait a minute, I thought it was supposed to be out this year," give yourself a pat on the back, for you are correct.

Unreal Tournament is not being 'actively developed'
https://www.pcgamer.com/unreal-tournament-is-not-being-actively-developed/
It is arguable, with all due respect to Jazz Jackrabbit, that Unreal—and specifically, Unreal Tournament—is the game that put Epic Games on the map. Sequels followed in 2003, 2004, and 2007 (confusingly called Unreal Tournament 3), and in 2014 a new UT was announced. Don't feel bad if you've forgotten about that (or just hadn't heard), though, because it's been a couple of years since the last time we checked in—when, ironically, we declared that "it's time to pay attention to the new Unreal Tournament."

Destiny 2's Black Armory is open, so let's take a look at the patch notes
https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2s-black-armory-is-open-so-lets-take-a-look-at-the-patch-notes/
Destiny 2's Black Armory is open for business, promising a hot new lineup of guns, grenade launchers, and other implements of mayhem—for Guardians willing to put in the effort to acquire them, of course. It also brings with it the dry prose of patch notes, explaining exactly what's coming in the 2.1.1.1 update.

A bug made a Destiny 2 boss triple its normal size, and it is freakin' huge
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-bug-made-a-destiny-2-boss-triple-its-normal-size-and-it-is-freakin-huge/
Today's Destiny 2 update was fairly bland as these things go—fixes and tweaks, mostly—but one note was worthy of a double-take: "Fixed an issue where Protheon, the Modular Mind grew three times larger than intended in Update 2.1.0." Protheon, Modular Mind is a pretty big fella to begin with, so three times his size? That's something I want to see.

Rumour: Dragon Age 4 is being announced at The Game Awards
https://www.pcgamer.com/rumour-dragon-age-4-is-being-announced-at-the-game-awards/
Reports say a new Dragon Age game is set to be revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow—but it'll be at least three years until you can play it. This follows an earlier tease by BioWare that something Dragon Age-related would be announced in December.
>> BasilZero made a thread about it.

Tour Anthem's hub city in latest dev livestream
https://www.pcgamer.com/tour-anthems-hub-city-in-latest-dev-livestream/
The town hub is a vital place in an action RPG. It's where you tend to turn in loot, upgrade your gear and chat to NPCs. Destiny has the Tower, and BioWare's upcoming shared world shooter Anthem has Tarsis. A new dev livestream has a wander, picks up some books, and chats to NPCs.

https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76s-live-in-game-events-will-start-in-early-2019/
Bethesda has confirmed that we can expect Fallout 76's live in-game events to begin early next year. Not much more information was revealed on what they'll entail, other than that there'll be a whole bunch at once during a single week.

Fortnite gets Creative mode with the arrival of Season 7
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-gets-creative-mode-with-the-arrival-of-season-7/
Leaked a little earlier and just officially announced, Fortnite Creative is arriving with Fortnite Season 7 tomorrow. For the first week of Season 7, Battle Pass owners will have access to a private island, where they can make their own games, scrap with friends, race around, or do whatever they can think of. On December 13th, everyone will get a private island. Battle Pass owners can invite players to their island during that first week.
