I just don't think parading things in every single possible instance is helping the end goal of trying to normalize it, if anything it annoys people more as they feel it's an Agenda being pushed upon them.

But isn't this the case even for what is majoritarian culture? I.e. isn't Christmas being "pushed" upon everyone because it is normalized? Or straight marriage (think of how many movies, series, TV shows, books, etc. Present a majoritarian conception of marriage as benchmark in life, important moment and milestone, etc.).

 

Isn't this an inevitable characteristic of culture in general? I may not be Christian, but I endure the permeation of cultural standards that promote it, from movies to music; etc.

 

Isn't part of the process of normalisation the increased visibility and cultural integration and interaction that goes with this?

 

I'm speaking purely from a sociological perspective here.  

Possibly. Although to be honest, I haven't ever really thought about it along those lines.

To be fair, I am not really into the LGBTQI "culture" side of things, it makes me cringe to be honest. - There is only so much rainbow and glitter a man who likes power/hydraulic tools can tolerate.
