I just dug up my Wii U after almost a year of retiring it. I will periodically go back to play certain games, but this was my biggest gap between uses. And after so many months of being use to rechargeable Joycons, and wired Xbox controllers, needing to check the battery life on my Wii remotes felt like such a chore. It almost felt like a foreign concept - so this controller is at around half battery life, so in like a day or two to go out and spend money on batteries in order to keep using a controller i already own. Its just a weird feeling that something I was so use to doing as a kid, something that I have been doing for so many years just feels foreign at this point. I realize that rechargeable Wii remote batteries do exist and I may even consider investing in them, but thats not the point. Has anyone else felt this way?
