Rocket League. Came out with the perfect mechanics that haven't been changed in over 3 years. Almost 3000 hours in and I still love it as much as on the first day, maybe even more. It is its own genre as there are no games comparable to it. People love to use the phrase "Easy to learn hard to master" but this game is the embodiment of that. Perfect as a nice party game and a skill ceiling so high that pro gamers haven't even reached it after thousands of hours of training, all while being the least complex esports game that ever existed. Great to watch, great to play, simply legendary.
