I'll say this much....I can't stand clutter. It pisses me off. I can't stand being around people who are pack rats - and my mother is the biggest one I know.
I can't stand clutter in any room, nor in the cupboards, and especially in the refrigerator. I buy only enough food so that I don't have to throw any of it away - but I will toss it in the garbage instead of letting it rot away.
So, yes, like the OP, I like open, clean spaces. Why live in a large house or apartment? That only means you have to buy more furniture and other crap to fill in the spaces - and then you gotta clean/dust/vacuum/mop the whole gigantic goddamn place. Or hire a maid.
