One day we called and 2 from the 3 games we wanted were sold out, so I had to make a quick decision to pick some other games as our mother would not let us use the phone again or for too long (I was 7 and my bother 9), then I quickly jumped to the rpg/adventure section and instantly liked the word "dragoon", plus the fact it had 4 discs, then the woman on the phone said that game would count as 2 (as it was a double case) but I was decided I don't know why, lol, so I got it blind, didn't know a single thing about it. My bother got mad at me and didn't want to play the game because it could have been two different games, so I had all the time with it myself. Best decision of my life. It was destiny. |
I see, sounds legit It matches somewhat the experience of a young neighbor I once had who also claimed to love the game. It was his first RPG ever and he was 8 or 9 the first time he played it. I trying to figure out how the game got the cult following so I am doing a mini census lol but my experience was different I was 16 and had played and reviewed at least a dozen JRPGs before Dragoon, perhaps that's why I it didnt have the lasting impact in me.
