Even the most hardcore fanboy can admit that the 360 has lost some steam in the past few months but I know one way that they would be able to easily leave PS3 in the dust and even give the Wii a good battle:

Drop the price to $200.

With the falling price of hardware I think this could be possible.

Let me ask you this: If you could choose between a Wii for $200 or a 360 for $200 which would you choose?

Even for me this would be a tough choice. I'd go with a Wii but only because I have a PS3 and a gaming PC but still..... That would be a tough choice.

That would help it vs PS3 for sure - but only a little vs the Wii, probably not nearly enough to make a difference.  Hell in Europe the Arcade is cheaper than a Wii and the Wii still demolishes PS3 and 360 sales.

The Wii has the zeitgeist - its the one to get.  Price isn't going to change that.  A parent shopping for a Wii isn't going to look at a 360 and get that and throw in GoW, etc.  They're going to get the Wii and Mario and Sonic.

The problem both 360 and PS3 have with Wii is that they need a whole different market perception and games library to compete.  As I think someone senior from Ubi recently commented - PS3 at least has a chance due to previous brand perception and games, for the 360 its still a massive uphill battle to remotely appeal to the demographic currently hoovering up Wii's...

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
