It's worth noting that this is a "DRM-free" game from the Humble Store, which means that it's not a Steam game, you have to download and install it by yourself.

Have they really improved that much?
I was a big fan of the series until AC 3. That game killed (get it?) the franchise for me, and even after finding Black Flag enjoyable, I simply lost interest in the franchise.
